PastClients.com needed an explainer video that clearly showed how its automated retention program helps real estate agents stay connected with past clients through branded cards, text messages, seasonal homeowner guides, surveys, and milestone communications.
The video had to explain a service with several moving parts while still feeling personal, polished, and easy to understand.
I started with the client’s script and branding, then developed multiple storyboard directions before moving into AI production.
I generated several AI voice options using ElevenLabs and HeyGen, testing different ages, tones, pacing, and delivery styles. The client selected a mature professional female voice, which then guided the development of the on-screen real estate agent character.
Using Higgsfield AI, I created the character and the surrounding lifestyle scenes based on the approved storyboard. I worked primarily with Hailuo, Kling, and Veo 3, selecting different models based on the type of motion and realism needed for each shot.
My prompting focused on:
• Character consistency across scenes
• Natural body and facial movement
• Realistic suburban environments
• Accurate vehicle and object proportions
• Controlled camera direction
• Consistent lighting and composition
• Reducing warping and unnatural AI motion
Once the AI footage was complete, I assembled the video in Adobe After Effects.
I manually created the service demonstrations, text overlays, transitions, motion graphics, timing, and visual effects using keyframes rather than relying on AI for the entire production. The AI voiceover and generated footage were then synchronized with the animations and service explanations.
The client responded positively to the first version, particularly noting the realism of the AI-generated scenes, the consistency of the female character, and the custom After Effects work.
After a focused revision round covering text visibility, timing, and transitions, the final explainer was approved and delivered along with the project assets and source files.
This project demonstrates my ability to combine AI image generation, AI video models, voice generation, character development, prompt engineering, and traditional motion design into one controlled production workflow.
AI generation works best when it is directed, not simply generated.The strength of the project came from knowing when to use AI for speed and visual flexibility, and when to switch to manual editing for clarity, timing, and creative control.
