Axis Dance Studio needed a website that could support both their brand launch and day-to-day operations. The site had to showcase different dance styles and instructors while also giving visitors clear ways to book classes, reserve the studio, purchase class passes, shop merchandise, and keep up with events and pop-ups.
The website also needed to launch on schedule for the studio’s new branch opening.
I started with a discovery call, brand guidelines, existing social media content, and the studio’s photo and video assets. From there, I designed and developed the full website in Shopify, organizing the content around the actions visitors would most commonly need.
The build included:
• Dance class and instructor pages
• Class and studio booking pathways
• Class pass information and purchasing
• Merchandise storefront
• Events and pop-up information
• Responsive navigation and layouts
• Desktop, laptop, tablet, and mobile optimization
I also created a custom animated hero banner in Adobe After Effects, including motion typography and branded graphics designed to work across desktop and mobile screens.
When photography for several instructors was unavailable, I used Adobe Photoshop to recreate and refine the missing visual assets, then matched them to the studio’s existing branding. I also resized, retouched, and reframed the full trainer image set so every class card felt visually consistent.
After a final review and revision session with the client, the website was completed and launched in time for the studio’s soft opening and branch launch.
The site remains live and continues to support class bookings, studio reservations, dance program browsing, and other studio activities.
This project demonstrates my ability to combine website strategy, visual design, e-commerce, responsive development, motion graphics, and asset production within one cohesive build.
This project demonstrates how I approach website design as both a visual and structural problem. I can take large amounts of content, organize them into an intuitive user experience, build responsive interfaces, integrate third-party functionality, and create missing visual assets when a project needs them.
While Axis Dance Studio was developed in Shopify, I also work across Webflow, WordPress, Squarespace, Wix Studio, Lovable, and Google Stitch, adapting the platform and workflow to the needs of each project rather than relying on a single website builder.

The goal was never to generate impressive clips in isolation. It was to use AI as part of a controlled filmmaking process and turn an artist’s visual language into a coherent moving piece.
